A Tiny Tooth in the Food Bowl

I found something unexpected in Friday’s food bowl: a tiny tooth.

It was one of her baby canine teeth. Friday is officially losing her baby teeth and growing up.

I knew kittens lost their baby teeth, of course. But actually finding one felt strangely exciting. Most of the time, I barely notice how fast she’s growing. And then suddenly there’s a little tooth in her food bowl, reminding me that she’s not going to be this small forever.

I have no idea whether Friday even noticed she’d lost it. But I did. And I’m keeping it.
